Bio:
I serve on the editorial staff of Mysterical-e, an ezine by mystery lovers for mystery readers. For 25 years, I have been a professional grant writer and have written over $45 million of awarded grants. In 2000, I was the lead writer for a HUD Hope VI Grant that was awarded $35 million to revitalize the Salishan Public Housing Development in Tacoma, WA. My most recent grant writing project was the Hilltop Safe Neighborhood Program (for $250,000), written on behalf of the Tacoma Police Department, the Tacoma Housing Authority and ten co-applicants. I also have been an associate editor with the Public Information Office of the University of Puget Sound and have been the editor or associate editor of three company house organs. I've also been a stringer for the Prentice-Hall Supervisory Newsletter. My background includes 12 years as an elementary school teacher in an inner city school. I bring this background to my kids mystery series, "The Stanley St. Irregulars."
