Davis is a songwriter, poet, and nature photographer as well as a professor of English and Journalism at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, Massachusetts. He lives on a small lake in Monson, Massachusetts with his wife and two adopted sons from Guatemala. A former World Record holder in Frisbee distance, Davis in his spare time can often be found negotiating the fairways of disc golf courses around New England.
