What is the Northwest Writer's Index?

This is an online index of writers living, writing and performing in the Northwestern United States, and Canada. The region ncludes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Western Canada. Each writer listed here has his/her own 'virtual baseball' card, listing e-mail addresses, homepages, biographical information, and bibliographic information linked to an online bookstore.
As an evolving project, we hope it will grow to provide a useful structure and stable place where writers can update their online efforts. In the constantly changing surface of the Internet highway, it is difficult to maintain a bead on who is writing what and where. Hopefully this will prove a good supplement to John Lebovitz's E-Zine list, where you can find an index of e-zines.
Readers will have a resource to find not only new voices but to track down writing by writers they enjoy. We hope this database will be used by:
- potential employers looking for writers who posses specific job skills
- writing students looking for instructors
- readers and publishers looking for online writing by Northwest Writers
We will be asking a small fee to be included in this database. $15.00 initial fee and $10 for annual/ biannual updates. Email us at editors@ravenchronicles.org for questions.
