Exhibition StatementIngri (Rachel) Quon lets inspiration flow through water and color to explore her environment and play with organic-inspired shapes. Ms. Quon has been a wildlife biologist for over twenty years and began watercolor painting to focus on her surroundings in a new way. Her vibrant watercolors are a catalyst for appreciating nature more deeply and exploring beauty in color and form. They say water is the source of life and watercolor painting is a great technique to appreciate life. She presents her art on various types of media including canvas, wood, paper, and metal.
